  The ethics of fictional taboo in art and literature
  
  There’s been a lot of heated debate about where the line is with taboo topics in fiction, especially in adult comics. I’ve seen arguments on both sides—some say it’s just fantasy, others worry about normalization. I once drew something that pushed a boundary and got mixed reactions. How do you all approach these ethical questions? Is there a “right way” to handle taboo subjects, or is it all subjective?

  I think it’s healthy to talk about these things, even if there’s no single answer. What’s acceptable changes over time and between cultures, so it’s good to reflect on it, especially if you’re making or consuming this kind of art.
