Round Comments:
Missing all the putts on front. 5 strokes behind Turner and Carter. Pressing too much. Decided to enjoy round and that really settled me down. Started playing really well on back. Turner was 5 strokes up on me with 5 to go Carter was 6 up with 4 to go. I was out of it. Par on 5, par 6, Black 7 I birdied after a 305 yard drive and a 3 wood into the wind just short of green. Turner doubled Carter bogied. I hit my 8 iron to 8 feet on black 8 and got par. Carter has bogie. 9 black I decided to hit 3 wood off tee I’m one stroke back. Doug comments on my 3 wood to mess with me and I hit it way right into the woods. They both hit center of fairway. Not looking good. I have an opening from 250 I hit a 3 wood out of the rough to 40 yards. Hit a gap to 10 feet and make a one putt for a par on the sandiest punched green you ever saw. Turner doubles. Carter misses 4 foot bogey and I win all the money!!! The best feeling they were not even thinking I was in it and I came back and won low net and low gross and $50. Amazing finish. I’m happy. Stable spine and I mean stable is what got me on track.
