I worked on getting the path to the right today and started to get that pretty well but struggled with squaring the face while holding the angle. I need to keep working on squaring the face and holding that angle while holding my finish. Anyway, left a bunch of irons and wedges out to the right today that cost me my round. Only the 8th round of the year though and haven’t practiced as much lately because of the back therapy I’m getting (lumbar decompression).Jul 8, 2024 Details -

They missed the forecast completely. It was supposed to be 60* and it was 45* and rainy. Still struggling making a divot with irons and hitting driver low on the face as it feels my bottom point is different where I’m trying to keep my hands forward more which is good.Dec 9, 2023 Details

Completely lost over the golf ball. Hitting everything off the toe (way right, fat, snap hook off the toe) so halfway through the back 9 I got a little closer to it since I widened my stance after getting too narrow and that seemed to help some. But hooked another one on 18 off the tee so really not sure what to do. Today was the practice round for a 2-day individual tournament at Floyd and I’m dreading it. I stand over the ball and don’t want to swing because I have no earthly clue where it’s going. Oh well I guess. Just tried to quit thinking about squaring the face and just thinking about tracing the target line with the club, alignment stick in front of the body and holding my finish.Aug 18, 2023 Details

Just solid all the way around. Didn’t make a lot of birdies but made some good ones for par. Let a few get away like 18 and but overall a solid day, just need to keep building on it and working on the same swinf thoughts.
